Israel Prayer Guide

Israel is the Promised Land given by our Almighty God to His people, the Jews (Psalm 105). It is our responsibility to love His nation, His people, and to pray for them in this crucial hour.
Wherever you go, you can hear wrong propaganda about Israel. Television and media are spreading news that is against Israel. In fact, it creates a fear and a false hatred in peoples' hearts about Israel.
We, as Christians, the children of God should know what the Bible says about the nation of Israel. We should know the truth and reality in the light of the Bible.

Isaiah 66:8  “Who has ever heard of such a thing? Who has ever seen such things? Can a country be born in a day or a nation be brought forth in a moment? Yet no sooner is Zion in labor than she gives birth to her children”.

Our God almighty fulfilled this promise in the year 1948 and the ‘State of Israel’ came into existence (re-established) in one day. Hallelujah!
As the second coming of our King Jesus Christ is very near, the enemy knows that his time is running out, and he is trying his best to destroy the land and the destiny of this nation. Gates of hell can never prevail against the purposes of God.
We, as the body of Christ, are requested to stand in the gap and intercede for the nation of Israel.
As we pray and proclaim the word of God, we can be sure that the plan of the enemy will be nullified in Lord Jesus Christ’s name and that God’s Will will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Proclaim His promises given in the Bible. Ask God the Holy Spirit to guide you and fill you with His strength.
We encourage you to pray for Israel with commitment and we are sure that you will be blessed. (Psalm 122:6)
May a mighty spirit of intercession come upon you!

Let us thank the Lord for our Jewish patriarchs Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob for their life of faith

“But their minds were blinded. For until this day the same veil remains unlifted in the reading of the Old Testament, because the [veil] is taken away in Christ.” (2 Corinthians 3:14)

Father God, please remove the veil from the eyes of the Jewish people — in Jesus Christ’s Name we pray.

Let us thank for the first all the Apostles of the Lord Jesus who were all Jews

“You will arise [and] have mercy on Zion; For the time to favor her, Yes, the set time, has come.” (Psalm 102:13)
Father God, show Your mercy and favor to Israel in this ‘set time’ — in the Name of Jesus Christ we pray.

Let us thank the Lord for the land of the Bible (Israel)

“Hear the word of the LORD, O nations, And declare [it] in the isles afar off, and say, ‘He who scattered Israel will gather him, And keep him as a shepherd [does] his flock.’” (Jeremiah 31:10)

Father God, continue to draw the Jewish people to Yourself according to Your sovereign plan — in Jesus Christ’s Name we pray.

Let us thank the Lord for the Apostles who took the gospel to the nations

“Let all those who hate Zion Be put to shame and turned back.” (Psalm 129:5)
“’No weapon formed against you shall prosper, And every tongue [which] rises against you in judgment You shall condemn. This [is] the heritage of the servants of the LORD, And their righteousness [is] from Me,’ says the LORD.” (Isaiah54:17)

Father God, as per your word whoever hates Israel, let them be put to shame. No weapon formed against Israel shall prosper. Every tongue that rises against Israel will be condemned— in the Name of Jesus we pray.

Let us thank the Lord for the great Jewish scientists and for all the inventions made by the Jewish people

“The LORD brings the counsel of the nations to nothing; He makes the plans of the peoples of no effect.” (Psalm 33:10)
Father God, please cancel the plans of the enemy against your nation Israel, especially the plans to divide Jerusalem — in the Name of Jesus we pray.

Let us thank the Lord for our savior Jesus Christ who was born as a Jew, and who will come back as the Lion of the tribe of Judah. (Rev 5:5)

“Destroy, O Lord, [and] divide their tongues, For I have seen violence and strife in the city.” (Psalm 55:9)

We cancel the wrong proclamations against the nation of Israel — in Jesus Name we pray.

Let us thank the Lord for the salvation, which came to us through the Jews. (John 4:22)

“The king’s heart is in the hand of the LORD, [Like] the rivers of water; He turns it wherever He wishes.” (Proverbs 21:1)

Father God, we pray for the Prime Minister, cabinet ministers, and every government leaders. Lord, help them to understand Your eternal plan for this nation.
In the Name of Jesus we pray.

Let us thank the Lord for all the biblical promises, which came to us through the Jews.

“For the company of hypocrites [will be] barren, And fire will consume the tents of bribery.” (Job 15:34)

Father God, help them to lead a holy life before You. We pray for their deliverance from corruption in any form. In the Name of Jesus we pray.

“You will arise [and] have mercy on Zion; For the time to favor her, Yes, the set time, has come.” (Psalm 102:13)
Father God, show Your mercy and favor to Israel in this ‘set time’ — in the Name of JesusChristwe pray.

Let us thank the Lord for fulfilling His word in Isaiah 66:8 by re-establishing the state of Israel in a single day in 1948.

“Behold, He who keeps Israel Shall neither slumber nor sleep.” (Psalm 121:4)

Father God, we ask for Your protection over Israeli Defense Force, Israel Air Force, Israel Navy and the nation of Israel. We pray for strategy, wisdom and guidance to handle every ongoing situation from bombing and other threats. In the Name of Jesus we pray.

 “Fear not, you worm Jacob, You men of Israel! I will help you,” says the LORD and your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel. (Isaiah 41:14)
Though Israel is a very small piece of land, with all the Islamic nations of huge population surrounding Israel, God has supernaturally protected and given victory in all the wars with Arab nations so far. Let us thank our God Jehovah Nissi for the same

“Some [trust] in chariots, and some in horses; But we will remember the name of the LORD our God.” (Psalm 20:7)

Let their hearts do not trust in their military strength. Help them to put their trust and hope only in You, God of Israel.

“Behold, I will make you into a new threshing sledge with sharp teeth; You shall thresh the mountains and beat [them] small, And make the hills like chaff.” (Isaiah 41:15)
Let us thank the Lord, who is the source of wisdom for Israel’s superior military technology

“There is no one greater in this house than I, nor has he kept back anything from me but you, because you [are] his wife. How then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God?” (Genesis 39:9)

Father God, please help Your children between 18 to 20 years who are compulsorily serving in military to lead a holy life before You. Please pour out the spirit of Joseph upon them. Help Your children to flee from sexual sin.

Let us thank the Lord for His faithfulness in keeping His promise in Jeremiah 31:10 - “Hear the word of the LORD, O nations, and declare it in the isles afar off, and say, ‘He who scattered Israel will gather him, And keep him as a shepherd does his flock.’”
God is bringing back His people (in Hebrew ‘Aliyah’ – Jewish immigration to Israel) from the north, and the south, from the east, and the west back to their own land

“For you [are] a holy people to the LORD your God; the LORD your God has chosen you to be a people for Himself, a special treasure above all the peoples on the face of the earth.” (Deuteronomy 7:6)

“and that He will set you high above all nations which He has made, in praise, in name, and in honor, and that you may be a holy people to the LORD your God, just as He has spoken.” (Deuteronomy 26:19)

Father God, please protect your nation from every sexual immorality like prostitution, homosexuality, fornication, etc s o that the Jewish people may become holy.

“For I will take you from among the nations, gather you out of all countries, and bring you into your own land. Then I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you shall be clean; I will cleanse you from all your filthiness and from all your idols. I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will keep My judgments and do [them]. Then you shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; you shall be My people, and I will be your God.” (Ezekiel 36:24-28)
Let us thank the Lord for the salvation of Jewish people who are being gathered back to Israel according to the above verse

“I have set watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem; They shall never hold their peace day or night. You who make mention of the LORD, do not keep silent.” (Isaiah 62:6)

Lord, please raise intercessors around the world who could pray wholeheartedly to be the watchmen and watch women for Israel.

Let us thank the Lord for the growing Jewish Messianic believers and Messianic congregations in the land of Israel

“For I do not desire, brethren, that you should be ignorant of this mystery, lest you should be wise in your own opinion, that blindness in part has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in.” (Romans 11:25)
“And so all Israel will be saved, as it is written: ‘The Deliverer will come out of Zion, And He will turn away ungodliness from Jacob’.” (Romans 11:26)

Father God, please help your Church, who love your Name but do not love Your nation and Your people - to understand the truth and love accordingly. Please set them free from the devils deception of Church replacing Israel and Jewish people (Replacement Theology).

Let us thank the Lord for the young generation (Joshua generation), He is rising up in the nation of Israel

“When they persecute you in this city, flee to another. For assuredly, I say to you, you will not have gone through the cities of Israel before the Son of Man comes.” (Matthew 10:23)

Father God, raise more congregations in the land. Please meet every need of the congregations — in Jesus’ Name we pray.

Let us thank the Lord for Jewish people’s zeal for God and faith even in the midst of great troubles

“Now, Lord, look on their threats, and grant to Your servants that with all boldness they may speak Your word.” (Acts 4:29)
Father God, protect every believer in this nation from persecution.

Give them your boldness and strength to take victory in every challenge they face — in Jesus’ Name we pray.

Let us thank the Lord for the Jewish people’s dedication to God’s word

“So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart, praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved.” (Acts 2:46-47)

Father God, we pray for the spirit of unity among the messianic believers and the congregations in Israel, so that they may grow daily.

Let us thank the Lord for the reconciliation and growing love between Arab and Jewish Pastors as well as believer

“Fear not, for I am with you; I will bring your descendants from the east, and gather you from the west; I will say to the north, ‘Give them up!’ And to the south, ‘Do not keep them back!’ Bring My sons from afar, And My daughters from the ends of the earth’.” (Isaiah 43:5-6)

Father God, release your people (Jews) who are under different kinds of bondages all around the world, and help them to return to their promised land. (In Hebrew ‘Aliyah’ – immigration of Jewish people to Israel).

Let us thank the Lord for the congregations sharing the good news in the Palestinian territory

“For I will take you from among the nations, gather you out of all countries, and bring you into your own land. Then I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you shall be clean; I will cleanse you from all your filthiness and from all your idols. I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. Father, we pray that Jewish people, who are scattered around the world will know Yeshua. Please deliver them from every bondage and teachings that is stopping them to understand the love of Yeshua, His sacrifice on the cross, His resurrection and His second coming.

Let us thank the Lord for 24x7 (24 hours x 7days a week) prayer houses in Jerusalem and in the land of Israel

“And so all Israel will be saved, as it is written: ‘The Deliverer will come out of Zion, And He will turn away ungodliness from Jacob.’” (Roman 11:26)
“Behold, the LORD’s hand is not shortened, That it cannot save; Nor His ear heavy, That it cannot hear.” (Isaiah 59:1)

Father, as per your word - that all Israel will be saved, we pray that the orthodox Jewish people will be delivered from religious bondages and will be saved. We praise Y o u , for Your hand is not shortened to save them.

Let us thank the Lord for the people who are faithfully standing with Israel, by interceding, supporting, and volunteering in person

“Nor shall you bring an abomination into your house, lest you be doomed to destruction like it. You shall utterly detest it and utterly abhor it, for it [is] an accursed thing.” (Deuteronomy 7:26)
“You shall not murder.” (Exodus 20:13)

Father God, as the Jewish people are immigrating from different nations with different cultural backgrounds, please help them to lead a Biblical way of life and deliver them from the corrupt social lives and enable Israel to be holy.
We pray against the increasing rate of abortion, a silent Holocaust. Deliver the Jewish people from the spirit of murder — in the Name of Jesus we pray.

Let us thank the Lord for all the nations which have good diplomatic relations with Israel

‘For I will restore health to you and heal you of your wounds,’ says the LORD, ‘Because they called you an outcast [saying]: “This [is] Zion; No one seeks her.” ‘ (Jeremiah 30:17)

Father God we pray for the healing of hearts and minds of the Jewish people from the memories of Holocaust.

Let us thank the Lord for all the Christian Ministries, Pastors, and Ministry leaders in Israel

“In that day there will be a highway from Egypt to Assyria, and the Assyrian will come into Egypt and the Egyptian into Assyria, and the Egyptians will serve with the Assyrians. In that day Israel will be one of three with Egypt and Assyria — a blessing in the midst of the land, whom the LORD of hosts shall bless, saying, ‘Blessed [is] Egypt My people, and Assyria the work of My hands, and Israel My inheritance.’ ” (Isaiah 19:23-25)

We pray for the salvation of Arabs, and for the reconciliation of Jews and Arabs, as per this Word — in the Name of Jesus we pray.

Let us thank the Lord for the miraculous growth of economy in Israel and for the growth of the Tourism Industry

“The angel of the LORD encamps all around those who fear Him, And delivers them.” (Psalm 34:7)

We pray for the protection and provision for the congregations functioning in Palestinian Arab regions. Lord, please send your angels to protect them and provide them — in Lord Jesus Christ’s Name we pray.

Let us thank the Lord for the natural resources in the land of Israel

“A father of the fatherless, a defender of widows, [Is] God in His holy habitation.” (Psalm 68:5)

Lord, you are the One who provides the orphans and widows from Heaven. Please continue to show your mercy, grace, and favor from men. Bring them to salvation experience — in t h e Name of Jesus we pray.

Let us thank the Lord for the holocaust survivors who survived the demonic brutal act of the Hitler regime and also for Lord’s healing in their hearts

“For I will take you from among the nations, gather you out of all countries, and bring you into your own land.” (Ezekiel 36:24)
“And I will multiply the fruit of your trees and the increase of your fields, so that you need never again bear the reproach of famine among the nations.” (Ezekiel 36:30)

Father God, we pray for the development of economy and for increase in job opportunities for the new Jewish immigrants.

Let us thank the Lord for the people who fought bravely for the establishment of the Jewish state

Then He spoke to them a parable: “Look at the fig tree, and all the trees. When they are already budding, you see and know for yourselves that summer is now near. So you also, when you see these things happening, know that the kingdom of God is near. Assuredly, I say to you, this generation will by no means pass away till all things take place. Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.” (Luke 21:29-33)

Father, we pray for the younger generation (Joshua generation) in the land of Israel that they will welcome Jesus the Messiah, and understand that the time is near for your second coming. Please save them and use them to spread the Gospel .Please send revival into your land — in Lord Jesus Christ’s Name we pray.

Let us thank the Lord for the children homes and destitute homes who show the Love of God in the nation of Israel

“Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord [is], there [is] liberty.” (2 Corinthians 3:17)
“For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.” (Romans8:2)
“For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.” (Romans 8:6)
“For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.” (Romans 8:14)

We pray for orthodox Greek, Russian churches and other religious churches in the land. Father God, please set them free from religious spirits and let the freedom of the Holy Spirit reign in their Churches and families — in Lord Jesus Christ’s Name we pray.

Let us thank the Lord for the Messianic musicians and worship leaders in Israel and in the nations

“I will bless those who bless you,And I will curse him who curses you; And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.” (Genesis 12:3)
“Then you shall see and become radiant, And your heart shall swell with joy; Because the abundance of the sea shall be turned to you, The wealth of the Gentiles shall come to you.” (Isaiah 60:5)
“Therefore your gates shall be open continually; They shall not be shut day or night, That [men] may bring to you the wealth of the Gentiles, And their kings in procession.” (Isaiah 60:11)
“For the nation and kingdom which will not serve you shall perish, And [those] nations shall be utterly ruined.” (Isaiah 60:12)

Father God, please raise nations to support Israel and get connected with Israel.

Let us thank the Lord for the government officials and politicians who are supporting the Christian organizations in Israel

“It pleased them indeed, and they are their debtors. For if the Gentiles have been partakers of their spiritual things, their duty is also to minister to them in material things.” (Romans 15:27)

Father God, please raise up churches from all the nations to pray and stand with Israel physically and spiritually.

Let us thank the Lord for the growing Jewish messianic businessmen in Israel and around the world

“Pray for the peace of Jerusalem:‘May they prosper who love you.’ ” (Psalm 122:6)

We pray for the coming back of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Prince of Peace who will give true peace to Jerusalem and all nations.

Father God, bless everyone who prays for the peace of Jerusalem.
